PVC compounds are ready-to-process thermoplastic formulations based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin, pre-compounded with precisely balanced packages of stabilizers, plasticizers, lubricants, fillers, and colorants to deliver defined mechanical, thermal, and regulatory performance in a single, production-ready material. Unlike raw PVC resin, compounds eliminate the need for in-house formulation — reducing complexity, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency, and enabling direct feed into extrusion, injection molding, and calendering processes.
